The Pre-Prep children of St. Martin’s Ampleforth School have raised just over £100 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The children have been caring for daffodils that they planted last autumn as part of the Marie Curie Mini Pots of Care scheme. The bulbs are now flowering and the children decorated pot sleeves to enhance their individual pots.
The money raised will help Marie Curie Nurses care for people with terminal cancer and illnesses in their homes and provide emotional support for their families. The care they provide is totally free.
