Queen Margaret’s School Lacrosse success
Queen Margaret’s School 1st, 2nd and U15 lacrosse teams took part in the Scottish Open Schools’ Championships at Loretto School, Edinburgh.
All 45 girls played very well. The U15 team won their competition and both the 1st and 2nd teams were runners up in their competitions.
Anne Davies, Director of Sport at Queen Margaret’s, was delighted:
On the pitch, all three teams gave great performances and it is the best I have seen the 1st team play for a long while. They moved the ball around brilliantly and played as one unit. It was just a shame that they lost out to Moreton Hall in the final. Off the pitch, the girls behaved impeccably throughout the trip and it was a pleasure to accompany them.
The tournament gave the girls the opportunity to play a variety of teams to help in the preparation for the forthcoming National Schools’ Competition at the end of this month.
