Following trials at Ampleforth College attended by independent schools from across the north of England, three Terrington Hall pupils have been selected for the North of England team as the first stage in selection for the national Lambs team, formerly the Prep Schools Barbarians.
Saki Kaitoga and Cameron Keanurico have been selected for the Lambs North of England U13 Rugby representative side and George Black for the Lambs North of England U11 Rugby representative side.
Terrington Hall headmaster Jon Glen said: ‘I am immensely proud of the boys’ achievement in winning selection. Competition was especially tough this year as entry had been thrown open to all independent schools across the North, not just prep schools.’
The North Lambs will play against all the other regions – the South East, the South West and the Midlands – with further trials later in the season for selection to the national side.
