Aysgarth School, one of the leading boys’ Prep Schools in the country, is delighted to have been named runner up in Tatler’s 14th Annual School Awards 2015.
Fighting off stiff competition from over 500 independent prep schools in the UK, Aysgarth School has been recognised according to Tatler’s Schools Guide 2016 for its “winning formula: all boys, full-boarding and non-selective. Result: alumni at all the best public schools in the country”.
Rob Morse, Headmaster of Aysgarth School, said:
We are absolutely delighted to be named runners up in such a prestigious award. Ultimately this is down to the wonderful team of staff both in the classrooms and behind the scenes that make Aysgarth such a very special school.
It is, indeed, a place where ‘boys can be boys’ and we truly believe that boys over the age of 8 thrive in the single sexed environment: something that Tatler, the ISI and the raft extremely confident and successful boys agree with! We offer boys a top class education and prepare them for the best senior schools in the country. It is a happy community that embraces every type of boy, whatever his passions and interests. We are lucky that our highly-regarded Pre-Prep and Nursery within our grounds also enables boys (and girls at this age) to start their Aysgarth journey from 3 years old.
Located just 5 mins from Bedale in the spectacular North Yorkshire countryside, Asygarth School is unique. It is the only all-boys boarding Prep School in the north of Britain and regularly sends a stream of boys to schools such as Eton, Harrow, Winchester and Radley, as well as to those closer to home.
